Illinois Vein Specialists accepts most insurance plans and is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Cigna, and Medicare. We also work with patients who have other insurance plans where we may be out of network.

Many vein treatments may be covered by insurance when they are considered medically necessary. Coverage depends on your diagnosis, treatment, and individual insurance plan.
Evaluation and Pre-certification
Venous ultrasound may be used to identify underlying venous insufficiency and determine the appropriate treatment plan. When required, our team will work with your insurance carrier to obtain pre-certification or prior authorization before treatment.
